SIX EASY SUPERFOODS FOR FAT LOSS

One of the easiest ways to help rid yourself of excess weight is to simply include foods in your diet that can improve your results. The six “megafoods” shown below all have well-known benefits for fat loss. They can also be eaten without having to worry about calories and make for guilt-free snacks. While you are dieting, food doesn’t hurt you, and can actually help you, if you eat the right things.

 

1. Grapefuit: Grapefuit is full of lycopene, which is useful for heart health, along with potassium, fiber and Vitamin C. Although grapefruit is sweet, it can help you moderate the insulin response because it is low-glycemic. Adding grapefruit or grapefruit juice to a meal will reduce the amount of calories that are transformed into body fat.

 

2. Beans: Navy beans, kidney beans, chickpeas, pinto beans and other types are all excellent sources of fiber which helps you feel full faster. They reduce the jumps in blood-sugar after eating and also lower the absorption of fat in the digestive system. In addition, they are great sources of protein.

 

3. Kale: A leafy green vegetable, there are only 30 calories in a cup of chopped kale. it is rich in fiber and calcium and should be a mainstay in salads. Kale is a lot more flavorful and nutritious than other types of lettuce that are commonly used in salads, such as iceberg or romaine as well as being higher in fiber.

 

4. Lentils: Lentils are rich in fiber and protein and are one of the best foods you can eat to help prevent blood sugar and insulin spikes following meals. You can reduce the effects of high-glycemic foods by eating them with lentil soup.

 

5. Quinoa: Which is pronounced KEEN-WAH, is a whole grain from South America that is fiber-rich and is a complete protein containing all nine supplemental amino acids that the body requires. It is an excellent alternative choice to white or brown rice. You can also eat it as a hot cereal.

 

6. Green tea: Green tea contains antioxidants which help your body get rid of toxins. It also contains catechins and polyphenols which improve your digestion and help raise your metabolic rate to burn fat quicker.

 

Eating these six foods by themselves cannot, of course, guarantee you quick fat loss, but it can certainly speed up your results from following a healthy diet and exercise routine.
